Our Vision
World Gym's mission is to change the world by improving people's lives through fitness, and we strive to help Taiwanese people to lead an active, healthy lifestyle. We believe that a strong, healthy population is the key to the development of a prosperous, thriving nation. Inspired by the Unites Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), our vision is to lead the sustainable development of Taiwan's fitness industry. The pillars of our corporate sustainability strategy are Environment, Operations, Talent and Community.
Chairman's Message
World Gym is committed to creating a sustainable fitness environment and implementing trustworthy corporate brand values through the concept of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance). In addition to providing members with a healthy and safe fitness environment, we continue to: promote energy conservation, reduce water consumption, safely recycle waste, and lower carbon emissions. At the same time, we hope to shape new policy agendas, fulfill our corporate social responsibilities, and lead the sustainable development of Taiwan's fitness industry.
ESG Management
Our ESG Department
In accordance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and guidelines, World Gym established the ESG Department in September 2022. The department works across functions to keep leadership at various levels of our organization informed of sustainable development trends and issues at home and abroad. The department also conducts various stakeholder surveys; develops strategies to achieve corporate sustainability goals; and tracks results to ensure the implementation of the sustainable development strategy.
Long-Term Objectives
World Gym's long-term objective is to promote the sustainable development of Taiwan's fitness industry while maintaining business operations and maximizing shareholder value. To achieve this objective, we intergate the United Nations SDGs into our business policies. We focus on issues such as consumer and labor rights, environmental protection and social welfare. In addition, we recognize our important responsibility to promote sustainable development in its three dimensions — economic, social and environmental — in an integrated and balanced manner.
On the economic front, we will continue to promote safe working environments, provide diversified, high-quality services; and, grow our business to strengthen our industry. For the environmental aspects, we are committed to implementing low-carbon policies that mitigate the effects of global warming by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and resource consumption. Regarding the social dimension, we continue to provide charity sponsorship, care for disadvantaged groups; and, invest in improving employee training and benefits.
Our Sustainability Target
>World Gym has set 2026 as our base-line year for greenhouse gas emission and energy consumption data analysis. We will provide the Target in early 2026 and the Achievement data in early 2027. We will continue our efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption with a focus on environmental sustainability.

ESG Spotlight
Providing Diversified Services
Through our multi-brand business model, we provide high-quality fitness and sports facilities with varying levels of service, access and amenities. Members can choose a fitness environment according to their preferences. Through multiple channels, we offer digital experiences, online fitness courses and virtual training programs. Most notably, our World Gym Online app allows members to exercise and receive professional guidance at home or anywhere. In addition, many members use our exclusive MyZone Switch heart rate belt in the club and with the app to monitor effort level, calculate biometric data, and customize training intensity to improve cardiovascular fitness.
Deploying Energy-Saving Technologies
World Gym uses cutting edge technology with sophisticated sensors and controls to manage the club environment and provide members with a safe, hygienic space. For example, all of our facilities are outfitted with indoor air quality monitors and energy-saving control systems. The network of smart air quality devices sends data about the club environment to connected air conditioning units, which turn on and off automatically based on the data received. By leveraging real-time data, we consistently maintain excellent indoor air quality and optimal energy usage in over 100 facilities across the island. This energy-saving technology along with many other smart systems, helps World Gym to operate more efficiently and meet our environmental sustainability goals.

World Gym is passionate about creating a fun and rewarding corporate culture where employees thrive and grow. We provide employees with a pleasant working environment, attractive health benefits, and positive team build team events. Our welfare committee regularly organizes various activities to improve the health, happiness, and overall well-being of employees. We also encourage continuous learning and provide staff with a number of opportunities for professional development. Employees may take courses at our training centers in Taichung City and New Taipei City or request financial assistance to obtain professional certifications offered by independent educational institutions. Accordingly, employees find many avenues to maintain work-life balance, improve their skills and advance in their careers.

World Gym adheres to the motto "Nurture Love; Connect You and Me." Every year, we continuously engage in charitable and philanthropic activities, extending a helping hand to disadvantaged groups and fulfilling corporate social responsibility.
Upholding Supplier Standards
We have developed a "Procurement Operation Management Procedure" to evaluate suppliers. Vendors are screened based on their supply capacity, price advantage, cooperation and other conditions. Suppliers who wish to do business with World Gym must also comply with safety, health and labor regulations. After evaluation, approved vendors are included on preferred supplier lists. We regularly evaluate our suppliers. If any violations are found, we propose corrective measures that must be implemented within a set timeframe. In serious cases, we may terminate our cooperation with that supplier in order to uphold our high service quality standards.
